Event: Oracle licensing for hospitals

19th of April 2018

Oracle platinum partner Exitas and the IT specialists team of international law firm Stibbe cordially invite you to our event.

It is not a new fact, but still a relevant one: Oracle audits her Belgian customers regularly. Audits are at best time-consuming and at worst a huge impact on your budget.

Through changes in an IT environment, lack of attention or obscure policies and terminology, it is possible that your Oracle environment is not or no longer correctly licensed. Changing versions of VMWare bring on larger and larger risks and few people understand the implications.
Being compliant one year does not guarantee compliancy in the next.

During the last few months we have been involved in several audits in Belgian hospitals and are concerned about the compliancy of hospitals’ Oracle environment.
We would therefore like to clarify some aspects of licensing rules and help you arm yourself against Oracle audits.
